Mario M. Correa Sr.: Engineering and Real Estate

Mario Correa was an electrical engineer for the U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Army for over 30 years. In the context of his roles, he tested most of the U.S. Army’s missile systems and maintained oversight of communications systems and retired as the Director of Information Systems Operations at White Sands Missile Range. After retiring in 2005, Mr. Correa became active as a realtor with Options Realty in El Paso, Texas, where he specializes in remodeling homes preparing them for sale, property investment and rental property.

Mr. Correa earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso, as well as a certificate through the IEEE. He is affiliated with the National Association of Realtors, and is a member of the Greater El Paso Association of Realtors and the local chapter of the Knights of Columbus Council 11926 and the 4th Degree Cristo Rey Assembly, reaching the position as Master of the 4th Degree.

Mr. Correa has been honored many times, accepting a Meritorious Service Medal, an Outstanding Support Award from America’s Service Range, and two Achievement Medals from the U.S. Department of Defense. Although his career has been filled with highlights, he is especially proud of serving with the U.S. Department of Defense and the Knights of Columbus.
