Brad Pistotnik has been practicing law since 1981, building a career defined by relentless courtroom advocacy and a willingness to take even the most complex cases to trial. Over his lifetime career, he has tried many cases before juries, including extended trials that have run up to nine weeks long, a testament to his endurance, preparation, and commitment to seeing justice through to the end.
His litigation record includes cases against some of the largest corporations in the country, among them Tyson Foods, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), Federal Express, UPS, and other motor carriers. He has also gone up against major insurance carriers such as Allstate, as well as nursing homes across the country, and motor carriers based in Kansas and throughout the nation. These cases have required Pistotnik to master complex regulatory, corporate, and medical evidence in pursuit of accountability for his clients.
Pistotnik focuses his practice on personal injury cases that result in severe and catastrophic outcomes, including death, paralysis, coma, amputation, and other life-altering physical harm. His work concentrates on auto accidents, motorcycle accidents, tractor trailer accidents, commercial vehicle accidents, construction site accidents, catastrophic medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, and other matters that demand intensive, high-stakes litigation.
He is licensed to practice in both Kansas and Oklahoma state courts and is admitted to practice in the Federal District Court in Kansas. Pistotnik graduated from Kansas State University in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing, before going on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1981.
Pistotnik's practice regularly extends well beyond Kansas and Oklahoma. He works frequently in other states across the United States, where he is admitted Pro Hac Vice alongside local counsel, allowing him to represent clients wherever catastrophic injury cases take him. He has represented clients in Illinois, New Mexico, Virginia, Missouri, Texas, and numerous other states, bringing decades of trial experience to families facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
Through more than four decades in the courtroom, Brad Pistotnik has built a reputation as a tireless advocate willing to go the distance, whether that means a nine-week trial or a case litigated far from home, for clients whose lives have been forever changed by severe and catastrophic injury.
